AURA UK, a leading provider of rapid security response solutions, has achieved Silver Certification under the Neutral Carbon Zone (NCZ) framework, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey toward environmental responsibility.
The certification, granted following an independent audit, recognises AURA UK’s measurable efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and integrate sustainable practices across its operations. By aligning its business model with long-term environmental objectives, AURA joins a growing network of forward-thinking organisations committed to net-zero goals.
“Achieving NCZ Silver status reflects our commitment to responsible innovation,” said Alex Booth, Managing Director at AURA UK. “Sustainability is a core part of how we’re reimagining the security industry—not just as a value-add, but as a business imperative.”
AURA UK’s journey to certification included a comprehensive review of energy consumption, travel policies, supply chain management, and operational practices. Initiatives contributing to the Silver status include the adoption of low-emission vehicles, enhanced use of remote technologies to reduce travel, and a focus on carbon-conscious decision-making throughout the organisation.

As part of its broader sustainability strategy, AURA also undertook a Carbon Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)—a detailed analysis of the environmental impact of its services and operations across their full lifespan. The findings of this assessment will be shared shortly, but outline a significant reduction in carbon emissions versus traditional nationwide networks.
The company’s rapid response technology, enables the automated dispatch of vetted mobile security responders across the UK, continues to deliver reliable protection for clients in sectors including retail, construction, commercial real estate, and critical infrastructure—now with a reduced environmental impact.
With Silver Certification secured, AURA UK is now targeting NCZ Gold Certification as part of its ongoing sustainability strategy.
